Payment Details, Payment Timing and Cancelations

To secure a date with us, a 50% deposit is required. Once date is secured, an invoice is sent to customer’s email with payment schedule and our policies (both listed below).

Full payment is due no later than 4 hours prior to Picnic on the scheduled date of Picnic occasion. In the event customer does not make a full payment by 4 HOURS BEFORE THE START OF THE SCHEDULED PICNIC OCCASION, the Picnic will not take place on scheduled date and be placed on hold for rescheduling or canceled.

For cancelations prior to 48 hours before scheduled date: We can help you select another day to reschedule, within a reasonable timeframe (3 months or less). If you still need to cancel and DID pay in full, your payment will be returned the same method it was received. If you only paid your deposit, your deposit will be returned the same method it was received.

Cancelations within 48 hours: Due to the preparations it takes to ensure a smooth running Picnic, cancelations within the 48 hour window before scheduled Picnic occasion will be refunded LESS the 50% deposit paid upon booking.
 

Late Arrivals

If you are running late, you must let us know ASAP. We will wait until you arrive at your Picnic, but this will cut into your own Picnic time. If you would like to extend the time*, you are more than welcome to do so, a $15 charge for an extra hour or $10 for half an hour will be incurred and can be sent via Venmo: @seasthedaypicnics Memo: additional time

*Extended Time Exclusions: For sunset picnics, this is only available for locations that are open PAST sunset.

Florida Weather Conditions

All reservations are weather permitting!

Even in Florida, sunshine is not always guaranteed. In the interest of keeping your special occasion extraordinary, if rain pops up in the forecast, we are willing to consider setting up in an alternative, indoor or covered, location so we can continue your occasion as planned. You are responsible for providing the indoor location- it can be your home, park pavilion, etc. For the safety and comfortability of our staff, Seas The Day Picnics and Events, LLC may refuse to setup at the alternative location. In this case, we will work with you to reschedule or provide a refund less the deposit.

We understand Florida weather can be unpredictable. If bad weather is expected, we will gladly reschedule your picnic within a 3-month timeframe. 

For your safety and ours, Seas The Day Picnics and Events, LLC holds the right to postpone your occasion in the event of severe weather (lightning, thunder, strong winds and heavy rain). We will work with you to reschedule your Picnic occasion based on our future availability.

Leaving Early

Please let us know ASAP if you would like to leave the Picnic before the arranged time. A 30 minute notice is much appreciated as we don’t want the setup to go unattended, you can text 239-427-4710. Please note: You are responsible for all of the Picnic items until we are able to return to your site

Extra Unaccounted For Guests

If you are bringing extra guests, we MUST be advised at the time of booking. In the event you do not let us know and extra guests arrive, you will be billed for the additional fees that apply to group picnics. It is $10 for every guest not previously mentioned.

Damages

You will be responsible for paying for the repair(s)/replacement(s) of any items that you damage, break, lose, or steal that belong to Seas The Day Picnics and Events, LLC.

​The damage fees are not including normal wear and tear on our items. The fees are SPECIFICALLY if you break, steal, or lose any of the provided items during YOUR Picnic occasion.

Please treat Seas The Day Picnics and Events, LLC’s properties with respect, like you would your own. We want everyone to be able to enjoy this fun activity and love their experience, not damage our precious items that make our business unique. Thank you!

Agreement, Terms & Conditions

I, the Picnicee, agree to properly and respectfully use Seas The Day Picnics and Events, LLC’s Picnic items while in my care. Acrylic glasses will be used for drinking liquids only. Plates, as well as tableware, will be used for foods only. The decor items are not toys, I understand if I break, scratch or stain any of the items provided by Seas The Day Picnics and Events, LLC I am financially responsible for the cost of cleaning and/or replacing the item and any additional fees. I, the Picnicee, shall not relocate any Picnic occasion items from the original agreed upon location.

Seas The Day Picnics and Events, LLC does not serve alcoholic beverages and will not be held responsible if those items are brought to the Picnic. I, the Picnicee, take full responsibility of my alcoholic beverages and any consequences they may bring. Seas The Day Picnics and Events, LLC also does not make or prepare foods. Any foods brought on Picnic site from Picnicee or ordered through Seas The Day Picnics and Events, LLC are not the responsibility of the Seas The Day Picnics and Events, LLC if I or someone in my Picnic gets sick. Seas The Day Picnics and Events, LLC will provide the source of where the food was ordered so you, the Picnicee, can handle it with the food company.  

Seas The Day Picnics and Events, LLC will not be liable relating to injuries or illness that may occur during the Picnic occasion. I, the Picnicee, am voluntarily participating in this activity entirely at my own risk. I understand that injuries or outcomes may arise from my own or others’ negligence. I agree to voluntarily give up or waive any right that I otherwise must bring a legal action against Seas The Day Picnics and Events, LLC for personal injury or property damage. In the event I, the Picnicee, should require medical care or treatment, I agree to be financially responsible for any costs inquired as a result of such treatment. I am aware and understand that I should carry my own health insurance.

*On the day of your Picnic, Seas The day Picnics and Events, LLC will send you a drop pin location to the contact number you have provided.

Use of Equipment

All Equipment supplied on hire is the property of Seas The Day Picnics and Events, LLC.

Any damage, loss or extensive cleaning will result in a fee to The Picnicee.

The persons hosting the event (the Picnicee that booked with Seas The Day Picnics and Events, LLC) shall be responsible for any loss or damage to any items such as platters, ceramic bowls/plates, vases, props and other decorations. Fees will apply for replacement at the full cost of purchasing a replacement. These fees are payable within seven days of such loss or damage unless agreed otherwise.

The Picnicee shall pay for all equipment damage or loss however caused during that period. Damage includes but is not limited to;

  • Improper use of equipment
  • Disappearance of the equipment
  • Damage to, or loss of, the equipment from any unknown cause
  • Cigarette burns on any furniture or décor items. Smoking is not permitted on or near the property of Seas The Day Picnics and Events, LLC 
  • Red wine, dark juices or other staining product spillages on any furniture or décor items

With the exception of battery powered candles, no candles, fires or other flammable properties are to be lit during the Picnic occasion.

In the event of the Equipment being stolen from the Picnic occasion, the Picnicee shall notify Seas The Day Picnics and Events, LLC in writing stating the full circumstances of the theft and the time the police were notified.

All hired equipment must not be relocated from the designated place of set up by Seas The Day Picnics and Events, LLC.

The Picnicee warrants that all Picnic occasion equipment will not be left unattended for the duration of the Picnic occasion.

Advertising

Seas The Day Picnics and Events, LLC has the right to all photos taken at the Picnic occasion for advertising purposes. Please share your photos with us- and tag us! We love to have new materials to use for our socials and we’d love to feature your Picnic! Use #seasthedaypicnics 🙂
